In the Spring of 2023, I was fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks volunteering with Elephant Nature Park and their sister project, Journey to Freedom, in Thailand. During this time I was able to observe elephants living freely after a lifetime of servitude to humans - here, the tables were flipped. Instead, humans were in service to the elephants, feeding them, enriching them, observing them. These photos tell of both their story, and my personal journey.
